Exhibition on “The Royal House Of Bourbon Two Sicilies"

On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 6 pm, a major exhibition entitled “La Maison Royale de Bourbon des Deux Siciles” in the prestigious venue of the Mairie of 8th Arrondissement of Paris in the presence of Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke and Duchess of Castro, and the Mayor of Paris, Monsieur François Lebel took place.

The history of the Royal Family has been traced through the exhibition of precious objects belonging to the family that ruled the south of Italy from 1734 to 1861. Sculptures, bronzes, paintings, medals, jewelery and porcelain decorations of Dynastic Orders, the knightly uniform and important documents, all which were expertly selected and arranged by the curator of the event HE Ambassador Antonio Spada, Great Treasurer, Costantinian Grand Collar and Officer of the Légion d’Honneur.

The event was attended by representatives of the leading aristocratic and Royal families of Europe, institutional personalities of culture and French and Italian entrepreneurs, including the Minister of Culture of the French Republic, Madame Aurélie Filippetti, and HE The Ambassador of Italy in Paris, Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri. The exhibition is open from 14 to 30 November.
