This ceremony, rich in symbolism and full of Christian charity, helped revive the knightly and missionary spirit of the Order, the vocation to service towards the Holy Church and towards the most fragile and needy of our time. In fact, the entire charitable commitment is destined to support the noble project “Case Famiglia” of St. Peter’s Circle which offers free hospitality to needy families with hospitalized children at Pediatric Hospital Bambin Gesù. At the end of the Solemn Ceremony, a gala dinner was held at the “Circolo della Caccia”, where several national and international personalities from the aristocratic, diplomatic and institutional fields attended. The meeting held this morning between His Royal Highness the Head of  the Royal House and the President of the St. Peter’s Circle, Marquis Niccolò Sacchetti, had sealed this moment of profound significance. On that occasion, the Constantinian Order had provided 100’000 euros largely due to generosity of Knights and Dames of the Order and partly to the Constantinian Order Foundation Charity ETS at the express wish of the Grand Master. The St. Peter’s Circle, authentic expression of  the Christian charity wanted by Blessed Pius IX towards the poor of the city of Rome, continues to represent a beacon of solidarity and service towards the neediest.
